yarraRorter website launch

The cold weather did not deter the invited guests to attend yarraReporter website launch today.

Cr Amanda Stone, the mayor of City of Yarra, Domenique Haslam, 3ZZZ manager, Enda Kenny, the Atherton Gardens Office of Housing manager, Andrew Mahar, Infoxchange Australia Executive Director and Cr Geoff Barbour, Langridge Ward Councillor were amongst the guests who attended the launch.  yarraReporter journalists and the new recruits were there too.

Before the launch, a workshop on social networking was organised by Mark Egan, one of Infoxchange’s content developers that was attended by yarraReporter journalists and the new yarraReporter participants.

Cr Amanda Stone officially launched the website that was followed with certification of yarraReporter journalists who have been trained in the past few months.

Thanks to Infoxchange’s staff who have put a lot work to organise today’s event.
