Ogaden: Past and present exposed through ‘Silent Cry’

As part of refugee week that happened in Melbourne in July, the Ogaden community celebrated at Fitzroy Town Hall on the 25th of June 2010, complete with traditional food, entertainment and the screening of the powerful documentary “Silent Cry”.

The Victorian Equal Opportunity & Human Rights Commission in partnership with the Neighbourhood Justice Centre are holding a series of community meetings for local Yarra residents and workers to have their say about human rights.
